CoI causing ‘great divide’ over future of VI- Bishop John I. Cline

In the June 22, 2021, edition of ‘My BVI’, an online panel discussion, Bishop Cline said the divide is along the lines of those who are for the government, and those who are against it.
Rejoice now, weep later - Bishop Cline
Bishop Cline; however, warned that those who are rejoicing now, should also be prepared for the outcome of the Inquiry, “Let us be careful what you wish for, because while you may rejoice in the night, you may weep in the morning,” he said.
THe Bishop, an outspoken community leader, had previously said that the UK should expect ‘stiff resistance’ should they try to takeover the VI or take over the government.
“We have clearly stated that we do not wish to even go back to what looks like a hint of colonialism [or] pseudo colonialism or you come in under the name of good governance and say you are taking over,” he said on the April 27, 2021, edition of My BVI.
The Bishop hinted that any attempt of the UK to take over would be seen as colonial masters raising their hands again and finding a loophole to do that.
UK taking over VI not an option - Bishop Cline
He; however, stated that coming out of the CoI, the institutions of governance and the practices of Legislators will be streamlined.
“While I am all for that [Good Governance], I am not for us to regress to the place where I see the United Kingdom become the masters of our government, the leaders of our Government institutions and take control of our government,” he said,

Let’s hope so.

That divide needs to happen and the corrupt to be penalised.
It amazes me that some people hate the present government so much that they would go to any lengths to have the white man rule over us again!
Corruption is wrong and it’s been in government for years and years. Think way way back to all our former governments.
I’m not a VIP follower but I think they’re doing the best they can. I think a few things could have been done differently but that don’t mean they’re more corrupt than anyone gone before.
