TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI- “It’s going to be an amazing concert,” Jamaican dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel, born Ajidja A. Palmer, promised on landing at Terrence B. Lettsome International Airport this afternoon, Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Vybz Kartel will headline the Black on Black Concert by YOLO Promotions behind Ralph T. O’Neal Administration Complex on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Known as ‘The Teacher’ and ‘World Boss’, Vybz Kartel appeared to be in good spirits ahead of his highly anticipated performance.

'Tortola get it'

“This is my first concert outside of Jamaica. Tortola get it! How blessed is that?!” He commented in a brief interview with JTV Channel 55.

Asked what can patrons expect on Saturday, Vybz Kartel said, “I bring good vibes. That’s what I bring, positive energy, success in anything you do.”

‘The Teacher’ also had a few words of advice for young people.

“Stay out of badness,” he admonished.

Steve E. Parillon of YOLO Promotions was at the airport to receive the highly sought-after artiste.

“We always deliver. We here,” Parillon said.

“We deliver, not just FedEx and DHL, but the promoters, Black on Black,” Vybez Kartel added before hopping into a Range Rover.

Don’t you see the more you try to drag down and berate this lady, you are making yourself sound and look more like the real moo moo. I don’t have a ball in the political game and don’t want any. I don’t know her either, but grow up and stop the childish nonsense.

In a society that glorifies violence, honors and endorses drug dealers, and justifies giving criminals a second chance, we in the BVI will never understand that not all money is good money.

But why would criminals care—especially when they’re benefiting?.

If the airport is lined up with private jets from the US to see the show. Bet the private jets will be lining up for the NYC show. He is going to make the most money from touring in the US.People in the US have money and they would spend up to 2, 3 thousand on a ticket.
