UPDATE: Hyndman shines for VI in National costume at Miss Universe Pageant
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – She may not have won the scores from fan votes and that of the judges to take her into the top sixteen at the Miss Universe Pageant 2012, but her costume which give her an “aquatic look”, was gallantly displayed and promoted and gave her sufficient points to make it among the top ten best costumes for the universal pageant.
VI’s electoral process gets “glorifying” remarks from observer mission
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- “The British Virgin Islands enjoys an enviable reputation of having a well-run electoral process and just as enviable for having a citizenry that believes in the fairness of that process. Such national confidence in the system allows for the free exchange of views that are the hallmark of a democratic process at work”, were the words of the Joint Observer Mission that came to the territory for the just concluded General Elections.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – As the clock strikes 6 p.m., the official time for the closing of polls of the 2011 General Elections, hundreds are still in line waiting to cast their votes.
