Dr Kedrick D. Pickering is now an 'International Best Selling Author'
The book chronicles Dr Pickering’s journey through university and follows his life since returning home to the Virgin Islands over thirty years ago.
'Amazing' book
During the official book launch and signing on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, Ms Carrie Kohan, Author, Editor, Founder and Chief Facilitator of the Freedom Masters Workshops and Seminars, and Publisher called the book “amazing”.
Ms Kohan, met Dr Pickering six months ago and began assisting him with bringing his vision for the book to fruition.
“When I first met him I thought he was a man of few words and I was a little apprehensive when he said he wanted to [write] this book,” said Kohan who joined the event via Zoom.
She told the gathering of Dr Pickering’s family, friends, colleagues, well-wishers and media partners that she was soon reminded that when someone is of few words, they should be listened to.
“Listen to what they have to say because when they do speak their words have been measured and weighed and so the wisdom is full and the value is there. And so that’s what I discovered with Dr Kedrick Pickering is that what he did have to share was absolutely incredible,” Ms Kohan explained.
Man of few words to International Best Selling Author
Dr Pickering she also discovered while editing the book was “profound” in his words adding, “It was amazing and it opened up a whole world to me that I didn’t even consider”.
Ms Kohan, an International Best Selling Author herself, descibred Dr Pickering as a “phenomenal” and “gifted” writer.
“The indication of that is confirmed by the amount of sales and the people that are supporting him around the world. He is an International Best Selling Author now in seven countries around the world and the book has done phenomenally well. So a big congratulation to Dr Pickering, well done,” she said.
Meantime, Dr Pickering in his remarks expressed his appreciation to those who came out to support him.
“It has been a long and interesting journey…to be standing here this afternoon having not only published a book but to hear somebody…say that I’m an International Best Seller I’m still trying to figure out what it means,” he stated.

Thank you for for your consideration of me to the launching of your book: 'Walk In Faith And Medicine. Unfortunately I was unable to attend, but was in the hospital for medical treatment, and was released hours after.
I do hope that your published book: 'Walk In Faith And Medicine will be bought by many, that they will practice the medical gem's help therein daily. I also hope that that many gainsayers will understand that you are one of the BVI'S most needed servant of the people, and your passion to continue serving, especially the people of the BVI is one of your life's called and duty unrepentant goals.
