Willock to do Back-to-School event dubbed ‘3 Hours, 3 Schools, District 3’
However, the event will take a different and innovative approach this year. Three schools have been identified in the Sea Cows Bay area for school supply donations. The three schools are the Seventh-day Adventist School, St. George’s Anglican School and Ebenezer Thomas Primary School.
The over 100 bags, books, and other supplies will be donated directly to the above-named schools, where the principals and teachers of each school will be responsible for giving out the items to students who have a need over the 2024-2025 school year.
Mr. Willock said, “We took a different approach as there were a few back-to-school events in different communities already, but the feedback was that some had too many restrictions such as having to be from a specific district or having to register your child. Our approach is to truly help students who are needy, and the principals and teachers who are on the ground know best the needs of their students.”
Only one criterion to receive items
Mr. Willock also said that their only criteria for students to receive back-to-school items is that they should be a current student at any of the three schools selected in District Three. The donations will be made next week all on the same day, dubbing their service effort- '3 Hours, 3 Schools in District 3'.
Mr. Willock noted that the Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre, temporarily housed in the Sea Cows Bay area, will be the beneficiary of something separate and special from the District Three Committee.
He thanked all this year's sponsors including Nanny Cay Resort, BDO Limited, Northam Construction, IAM Jet Centre, along with the supporting role of his Third District Committee and Ms. Kishma P. Forbes of Virgin Islands School and Office Supplies.

Who Will Hon Fraser over 2
To HMMM who don't think the private schools don't need, well I think u will be surprised to know that some kids in the private school do need as well. Many times it is great sacrifices that parents are making. Not that they have it in abundance.
Education is a must!
