VI Represented @ Digital Pathways For Sids 2.0 Conference in T&T

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad & Tobago- The [British] Virgin Islands was represented by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Financial Services, Labour and Trade, Ms Petrona N. Davies and Public Service Transformation Manager Mrs Kishann Cupid Braithwaite at the High-Level Conference: SIDS 2.0: Defining the Pathway for Small Islands DIGITAL States in the Caribbean.

The Conference was held in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago from April 30 to May 1, 2024.

The Digital Pathways for SIDS 2.0 Conference focused on advancing the digital transformation of Small Island Developing States.

According to the Government Information Service (GIS), the event was intended to result in a consolidated and coordinated Caribbean position on Digitalisation.

The conference precedes the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States scheduled to take place in Antigua and Barbuda in May 2024.

The Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago (Ministry of Digital Transformation), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) are the official sponsors of the Conference.

    These civil servants travel more than the politians but not a man saying a word !!!! set of cowbirds but the coi did it's job to turn the people against who we elected so our independence can be slow down
