VI Gospel Singers makes top 5 in global video countdown


Gabrielle Denae’s “Kingdom Come” is countdown video number one while Oneyke’s “Tell Somebody” is countdown video number five on the charts in the regionally and internationally aired show.
Through the Storm
According to a release from Progressive Ministry Management, Gabrielle Denae is a Contemporary Gospel singer, Psalmist, worship minister, and songwriter who debuted her album “Through the Storm” in November 2015. She was nominated for 8 Marlin Caribbean Gospel Music Awards, winning the category of “Inspirational Recording of the year” for her song, “Pave the Way”.
The video and song “Kingdom Come “which reached number one on the charts, was created as a desperate cry for the will of God to be seen on earth. Based on the commonly known as the Lord’s Prayer, the song is worshipful yet empowering.
It is Gabrielle’s conviction that Kingdom Come will change the world, one listener at a time and on its second appearance on the show, the song jumped from number ten straight to number one in the charts.
Fulfilling purpose
Oneyke, another VI son of the soil is a piano player and composer, who fulfils his purpose of leading others to Christ with music that is relatable as well as applicable. His music style ranges from Contemporary Worship to Gospel Reggae, and Gospel Indie Pop. He is also the recipient of the Best Contemporary Gospel and Male Songwriter of the Year awards for the 2018 Antigua and Barbuda Gospel Music Awards (ABGMA).
The song “Tell Somebody” is Oneyke’s first official single developed after an epiphany, abd became a catchy song with a message to share with others.
Tell somebody has been on three episodes of the countdown and has moved from number seven to five on the charts
CAAG is a Top 10 Gospel Music Video countdown show based in the United States and is aired on 9 TV networks in the Caribbean, Bahamas, Africa, South America, UK, and the US.
