Singer of VI parentage impresses on The Voice

When Varlack took to the stage on March 2, 2017 doing Stevie Wonder’s ‘Jammin’, Varlack literally got a two chair turn from Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton.
While he opted to be coached by Stefani, all the judges expressed amazement at his song of choice and commended him for the presentation, noting that he has potential of doing great in the other rounds of the competition.
Varlack was born in the US Virgin Islands (USVI) and now resides in the USA where he works as a firefighter.
His parents are Patricia George-Varlack who hails from Virgin Gorda and Paul Varlack of East End, Tortola.
The Voice
According to NBC, on "The Voice," the strongest vocalists from across the country compete with one another, in teams coached by today's biggest names in music, for a chance to win a recording contract.
In Season 12, Gwen Stefani rejoins coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Alicia Keys -- returning for her second season as coach -- in the search for the most talented singers in America. Following the blind auditions, artists who turn the coaches' chairs are recruited to Team Alicia, Team Adam, Team Blake or Team Gwen - and will face off against one another in the battle and knockout rounds. In the live shows, viewers vote for their favorite artists each week.
Only one winner will be crowned The Voice.
