Public warned of entity ‘falsely’ claiming to be licensed by FSC
In a statement on September 25, 2023, the FSC said the public statement is to protect the customers, creditors or persons who may have been solicited to conduct business by GAEA Investment and to make the general public aware that the entity “is not a BVI company” and has never been licensed or regulated by the FSC to carry on investment business or any type of financial services business in or from within the Territory of the Virgin Islands.
‘Exercise extreme caution’- FSC
The FSC said GAEA Investment is using the website address https://gaeainvestment.com. The trading platforms utilised are Desktop Trader, Android Trader, and iOS Apple Trader.
“GAEA INVESTMENT is falsely purporting to be a Globally Licensed and Regulated entity,” the FSC stated.
Members of the public are advised to exercise extreme caution and to avoid conducting any business with GAEA Investment.
The public is also invited to provide the FSC with any relevant information on any questionable entities that are purportedly operating in or from within the Territory and on any improper activities engaged in by such entities.
