It is interesting that Miss Jamaica placed in the Top 5 of the competition. That is an amazing accomplishment when one things that she made it past well over 100 other competitiors. When I look at Miss Jamaica, I see "authentic'. She is wearing her natural hair, she has a beautiful face. Our girls invariably wear a weave. Be proud of your God given beauty. Not saying that you cant embellish things a little but own what you have been blessed with and make it work. Miss Jamaica comes from humble beginnings but she is is a medical doctor. That is the caliber of competition our representative is up against so we have to scout for the best of the best to stand a chance of making a decent showing.
