Male body found in a ghut near Treadfalls

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) confirmed that the body of an unidentified male was recovered from a ghut below Treadfalls on Monday, September 25, 2017.
The RVIPF cannot confirm the cause or time of death at this time. The Coroner's office has been notified and a postmortem is being arranged.
Meanwhile, at this stage the death is not being treated as suspicious.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is appealing for information on any missing male who may have lived, worked or had any reason to be in that area to contact the RVIPF at the emergency numbers below:
