CoI Commissioner to visit sister islands tomorrow, Feb 1, 2021

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Commissioner of the Inquiry into governance in the Virgin Islands, Sir Gary R. Hickinbottom, will be on the sister islands on Monday, February 1, 2021, and will be available to meet with residents there who may wish to speak with him.

According to Secretary to the Commission, Steven Chandler, Mr Hickinbottom "will be happy to explain" how the independent Commission of Inquiry will work, its purpose, and how people can get involved if they so wish.

The Commissioner will be at the Anegada District Office from 8:30am to 9:45am before heading to Virgin Gorda where he will make himself available to the public from 11:00am to 12:15pm at the Hazel Point Building (2nd Floor).  

Mr Hickinbottom will then wrap up his outreach on Jost van Dyke where he will be available from 2:00pm to 3:15pm at the Albert Chinnery Building, District Office.

Meetings can be held in private

"If you would like to speak with him during his visit or hear more about the Inquiry and its role, then please come along to the venues detailed below in the appropriate time window.

"Meetings can be 1-to-1 and held in private," Mr Chandler stated on January 30, 2021.

    It’s nice that he visits but how much can he find out in ONE HOUR?
    He should spend on anegada and Jost at least 4 hours each and 6 hours on VG

    If persons do not read this news site how would they know you are coming? There needs to be facebook posts etc so people who want to see you can make arrangements.
