Clarendon Businessman Shot Dead At St Andrew Hotel
The Half-Way Tree police are investigating Sunday's murder of a Clarendon landscaper at a hotel in St Andrew. It's reported that around 4:45 p.m, 47-year-old John Brandon Murray of a Clarendon Park address in Clarendon, was shot and killed by unknown assailants at the Mayfair hotel on West Kings House Close in St Andrew.
Murray was walking on the hotel compound, when unknown assailants reportedly pounced upon him, opening fire.
He was hit several times and later pronounced dead at hospital. Murray, a former footballer, was co-founder of Clarendon's Sporting Central Academy and a partner in Murray's Fish and Jerk Hut also in the parish.
