Boat destroyed by fire @Pieces of Eight

PIECES OF EIGHT, Tortola, VI- A go-fast vessel was destroyed by fire at Pieces of Eight last night, May 23, 2026.

From all indications, no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is unclear to our News Centre at this time. 

Firefighters were called to the scene but could not save the vessel from being destroyed.

More details to follow.

      And if you're owed, destroy the asset that helps you to be paid or harm the person that owes you? That will help you to get your money faster? Simple minded bull shiggidy is what that is. Best you go to the Magistrate's Court and petition for your money with interest and lawyer fees. That is what civilized persons would do. This cruel and ugly way of doing things with the young people is frightening because it shows a lack of respect for one's life and property. If you cannot afford to lend that it turns you into an animal who sees nothing but red when owed, stop lending. Please, stop lending. The country and everybody will be better off. Keep your money with you and tell them to go to the bank. Imbeciles.

      Even if there are cameras around, they will find a way to cover things up and sweep things under the famous carpet. By now you should know how things work in this place. But for real some envy minded person set the boat ablaze to keep it from getting in the race.
