Aircraft allegedly ‘missing’ after departing Anegada for Antigua
The aircraft, which was said to be privately owned, reportedly had two passengers onboard; a Columbian and a Venezuelan.
It had reportedly departed Anegada around 6:00am for Antigua.
Aircraft was reportedly not detected on radar
According to reports, the Control Tower at Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport and at the San Juan International Airport did not pick up the aircraft on their radar.
It is unclear whether the aircraft flew under the radar, which can reportedly be done by flying at very low altitude, or crashed.
Police Information Officer Diane L. Drayton, when reached for confirmation on the reports, referred our newsroom to Acting Managing Director of the BVI Airports Authority Mr Clive Smith. Mr Smith; however, did not respond to our request for comment.
The Governor’s Office also did not respond to our request for information.

This is fishy. The airport don't open until 7. There are a lot of illegal dealings happening right there at the Anegada Airport.
