'Yes, I do work & loving it'- Hon Maduro-Caines
The photo posted on November 19, 2019, has since accumulated a number of likes and comments and bears the caption, 'Just in case you're wondering, Yes, I do work and loving it."
It featured the Sixth District Representative in an executive style chair with office furniture and documents visible in the background.
'Where is the work?'
When questioned by one curious Facebook onlooker, on "where is the work?", Hon Maduro-Caines replied, "you aint see z6ne on the move. Only the haters blind."
However, it remains unclear why the representative would see the need to make such a post. At the September 2, 2019, continuation of the Sixth Sitting of the First Session of the Fourth HoA, Hon Maduro-Caines famously told the House that her District was starting to look like a dump.
“We in District 6 have been plagued by the parking of equipment and boat trailers and boats all over the district… It’s time that they stop making the 6th District look like a dumping area,” she said.
Forgive Debts
More recently, at a press conference called by the Opposition on November 13, 2019, Hon Maduro-Caines had called for debts to be forgiven over Crafts Alive vendors owing the ‘City’ in excess of half a million dollars.
“Yes a lot of them owe a lot of money but a payment plan that some have asked for is virtually impossible to be paid at that time because some have been given a three-month period to pay off six thousand and ten thousand dollars and I can’t see that happening,” she said.
Putting herself into the shoes of the vendors, Hon Maduro-Caines noted, “I myself wouldn’t be able to do it with my salary so I could imagine the state that they are in at this time."

He and the doctor start into conversation, which leads into politics.
The old farmer explained, "Well, as I see it, most politicians are 'Post Turtles'."
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked what a 'post turtle' was. The old farmer explained as best he could, "When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle on top, that's a 'post turtle.'
The doctor remained puzzled. The farmer continued further.
"You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while up there, he's elevated beyond his ability to function, and you just wonder what kind of dumb arse put him there to begin with."
Even the doc supposedly more educated than the farmer didn't know what a post turtle was and to be truthful I didn't know either. Just goes to show that at times the uneducated are more educated than the educated
Thanks for this.
