What a D****-@#$ she was driving fire into a GAS station. She could have blown up and killed everyone for not using good judgment. She should have pulled over on the road and got out of her car. No common sense what-so-ever!

Sometimes, when people panic, they don't think clearly and don't react the way they should.

Lol only someone truly stupid, would think hey my car is on fire, let me take it to one of the most dangerous places I could for help.

Anyone with half a brain would have gotten out of the vehicle that was on fire. This person clearly a danger to society. They shouldn’t be operating anything that could endanger the lives of others, they should not have a license.

Driving fire into a gas station is like setting off a ticking bomb! What a greater disaster that could have been. STEP 1- immediately stop the car and evacuate the vehicle.

Truly, no one in their right mind would have done something that ignorant. Please do us a great favor Traffic Department, withdraw her rights to drive any vehicle that uses fuel that can caused a fire explosion.
Not only that, she needs to attend common sense class for next three to six months, and past the test before any consideration of given her permission to operate a vehicle.

No hate, that's fair for her and our people's safety.

Maybe it was first smoking and then it caught fire after.
Only she knows the true story, so don't bash her too much.

They don't even want us to use our cell phones because it may cause a spark, and she brought the entire fireworks to the gas station. You can't make this stuff up folks, no way you can make this up.

She was frightened and was not thinking. But a gas station is not the ideal place to drive a vehicle on fire. Thank God the situation didn’t escalate.

What if she just thought the car was overheating? She could have thought it was just steam coming from the engine and pulled into the station to get some assistance and coolant for the vehicle. Opening the hood would have introduced additional oxygen to a small flame, causing it to flare up and engulf the engine in seconds. I don't think she drove down the highway with flames bellowing out from the front of the car and then decided to pull into the gas station.

Finally someone with sense, you are so right. We Tortolians are always ready to judge people and think the worst of them. I don't think that lady would have gone in a gas station with a burning car, more likely she drove in to get assistance and the car became inflamed. Let us thank God that no one was hurt and let us wait until the woman has given her reasoning or story for driving into the gas station. As the Bible say, first take the plank out of your eyes first before taking the mote out of hour neighbor's eye, what if she was your child....on another note, fright can make people do strange things...SMH

It’s idiots like yourself that validate other idiots like this person, why the island is so overwhelmed with idiots.

Read an article that literally says “she drove car on fire INTO gas station” not it CAUGHT fire WHILE she was already at the gas station.

Definitely a place filled with mass idiocy this island is.

Glad to know the outcome n that everyone was safe. That was a real risk she took. Driving it to a ‘gas station’ is beyond risky ( it could have easily exploded) putting others in great danger. Going forward if one’s vehicle is burning/smoking the safest thing to do is get out, get away from it, and call for help /the fire department. #Yourlifematters you can always get another vehicle but you cannot get back life.

The need to stop allowing the congregation of person drinking at DELTA as if it is a bar. This is a dangerous practice. On Virgin Gorda at DELTA they line there and drink rum all day with chairs lined up outside where they sit.

She was already parked and getting gas from the gas station. Report the truth. Supposed it had caused the gas station to burn down? She would not have been liable, and not at fault. Lady, I hope you and your family are well, do not mind the unnecessary, misinformed, nonsensical commentaries. Wish you and your family all the best!
