ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Popular Orthopaedic Consultant at Eureka Medical Clinic, Dr Klas Buring has died.

Dr Buring's passing was announced by Eureka Medical Clinic today, July 19, 2024.

"With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Dr. Buring, who has been a cherished member of Eureka Medical Clinic for over 15 years. Dr. Buring's compassion, dedication, and care touched the lives of countless patients in our community.

"We are deeply grateful for the time we had with such a remarkable individual. His legacy will live on in our hearts and of all who knew him," Eureka stated.

The Management and Staff of Virgin Islands News Online extend condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the late Dr Klas Buring.

    Dr. Buring was a dear friend and a giant of a person who cared more for patients than any personal gain or compensation. Before the BVI had medical insurance, Dr. Buring looked after just about as many patients who had no way to pay him as he did those who could pay. He was always there to help anyone who needed it, quietly and with a smile. We will sorely miss him.

    My deepest sympathy to his wife and children.

    I went to see you when I was at the end of my tether with an injury.
    You could tell how anxious and concerned I was.
    You gave me clear, exact and detailed explanations of what my issue was in a kind, knowledgeable and friendly manner.
    BVIs loss is heavens gain. What a professional man with a heart of gold.
