Premier Fahie said Cabinet on June 9, 2021, approved the reopening of the Soper’s Hole Dock at West End; Dog Hole Dock at Jost van Dyke, and St Thomas Bay Dock at Virgin Gorda to receive fully vaccinated international travellers and crew members only, starting June 17, 2021.

Cabinet also decided that all requisite Government and Statutory Bodies work together to establish the Anegada seaport as an official Port of Entry, to receive fully vaccinated travellers and crew members only for this initiative.

The Premier said the public will receive updates as the territory continues to move forward with the initiative.

It was also clarified by the Premier that the Road Town seaport and the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport will be the only ports where vaccinated and non-vaccinated travellers would be allowed to enter the territory.

“Let me also inform you here that domestic travellers will remain unaffected in their ability to use all ports.

Will private boats be allowed into these ports with fully vaccinated passengers, or is this for ferries and water taxis also? Is there a special procedure for arriving into these ports?

Just open the dock for everybody then because they coming with their yaws and spread just as well as anybody who remain unvaccinated. The first I see a vaccine that doesn't stop you from contracting something.

Vaccinated, but still contract, still spread COVID. So what is the difference? Not deserving of special treatment in my book.

Stop the ignorance. People who have taken the chicken pox vaccine still get chicken pox with minimal effect. Stop acting like a fool

What about personal private boats to and from BVI and USVI. Day trips?

Just got back from STJ. Local USVI day trip boat captains don't think BVI will ever open it up to day trippers again. The BVI government is just using Covid as an excuse to keep them out to try to force tourists to stay on BVI and use their ferries & day trip companies.

Feel good you're not waking up with different types of funny feelings like some who fully vaccinated. Health and your body functioning properly is waaaayyyy better than traveling B.
