VIslanders very hospitable despite negativity- Karl M. Scatliffe
The Bus and Taxi Operator told Virgin Islands News Online that his remarks hinge on feedback that he receives from visitors and expatriates alike.
According to him, the goodness in the people shines through and people feel welcomed.
“Just recently, I gave a man a ride, he said he has travelled throughout the world and this is the friendliest island, where people don’t have to know you to give you a ride to where you are going. This is something I hear all the time,” he said.
“That is a good thing, you know, despite all the negative things people say, and the negative vibes,” Mr Scatliffe, who did not elaborate on the negativity he was referring to.
The Virgin Islands continues to be recognised as one of the top choice for tourists the world over, both for the physical beauty of the islands and the warm hospitality of the people.

I'm sorry to say that politics from our unqualified ministers has reached the street level and things are going to the dogs very quickly.
Set of thieves!!
In most countries this is rare.
Lets be sure to continue raising our children in such a way so that when they are old they will do so, and also teach there kids to do the same.
Also when you go abroad people recognize it and asks where are you from. It's as if you are bringing blessings from abroad.
My info: All repetitive personal experiences.
I pick up a stranger, I might regret it.
