VI’s oldest citizen Ms Enelle Smith celebrates 105th birthday
Smith, of Tortola, [British] Virgin Islands, is also the oldest person alive in the [British] Virgin Islands.
Among those celebrating the special day with Ms Smith was Minister for Health and Social Development Hon Vincent O. Wheatley (R9).
“It was an honor indeed for me to spend time with Ms Enelle Smith and her family today as she celebrated her 105th birthday! May God continue to keep and watch over you and your entire family,” Hon Wheatley wrote on his social media page on December 22, 2023.
Ms Smith was one of six centenarians the Social Development Department of the Virgin Islands (BVI) paid tribute to on September 22, 2023, in observance of National Centenarian Day on Friday, September 22, 2023.
