ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Mr Garnet A. Ferron Snr is poised to become the latest author to launch his book, as part of the Department of Culture’s quarterly book launch.

Mr Ferron’s book, ‘Workplace Fairness Globally: Balancing the Weight of Fairness’, will be launched on February 13, 2025, at the Village Cay Marina.

Book explains workplace fairness

According to Mr Ferron Snr, the book examines the complex interplay of fairness in the workplace on a global scale. The context, he said, delves into the nuances of fairness as it is understood and applied within professional environments.

“It offers a rigorous exploration of the subject that is sure to resonate with both employers and employees alike,” the first-time author explained in a press release from the Department of Culture on February 4, 2025.

“The book also presents an opportunity to reflect on the evolving dynamics of the modern workforce and the importance of balancing diverse interest in pursuit of equity,” he added.

The book, he explained, represents the culmination of years of research and contemplation on fairness in the workplace.

Both challenges and opportunities are presented in the global nature of the workplace.

Through his book, Mr Ferron Snr said he hopes to spark meaningful dialogue and offer practical insights contributing to a fairer working environment for all.

Book comes at a relevant time in VI- Anne A. Lennard

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture Ms Anne A. Lennard said the book comes at a relevant time as discussions on workplace dynamics continue to gain prominence both in the VI and globally.

“Given the universal relevance of its subject matter, this book is not only timely but essential for anyone navigating the complexities of modern workplaces,” she said.

At the launch, attendees will have the opportunity to directly engage with Mr Ferron Snr, explore themes in this book, and participate in conversations about fairness in the modern workplace.

Mr Ferron Snr's book is available for purchase on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle versions.
