VI’s Asha A.S Hyndman cops Miss UVI title

JOHN BREWERS BAY, St. Thomas, USVI- The Virgin Islands’ (VI) very own Miss Asha A.S Hyndman walked away yesterday, Sunday, April 20, 2025, with the title of Miss University of the Virgin Islands (UVI).

Miss Hyndman, a student at UVI, took part in the Mr & Miss UVI pageant organised by the Orville E. Kean and Albert A. Sheen Campuses’ Student Government Association: Ambassadorial Committee.

The pageant took place at the Administration and Conference Center Building at the UVI’s Orville E. Kean Campus in St. Thomas. 

3rd crown in 1 year for Miss Hyndman

This is Miss Hyndman’s third title in one year, as she previously won Miss Teen BVI 2024/2025 and Miss UVI Homecoming Queen 2024/2025. 

At Sunday’s pageant, she also took home awards for Miss Photogenic, Miss Intellectual Speaker, Best Performing Talent, and Best Ease of Manner. 

First Runner Up is Jahnique Francis, who also won the award for Miss Popularity. Mr UVI is Rayhan Sabur
