VI's active COVID-19 cases drop to 272; 11 remain hospitalised

The reduction in cases represents 209 new recoveries; however, hospitalisations are currently 11, according to the latest epidemiological report from health officials.
Of the active current cases, 2 are on vessels, 218 are on Tortola, 41 on Virgin Gorda, 1 on Anegada, and 10 on Jost van Dyke.
131 of the cases are local, 53 are contacts of cases with an additional 29 discovered through travel screening, and 56 through entry screening day seven with 3 on day zero.
As of today, 17,236 persons have been fully vaccinated with some 1,550 persons partially vaccinated.
