ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Twenty-year-old Kadeem O’Neal of Virgin Gorda is the winner of the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board jingle contest for the We Are One BVI Campaign. Launched in June, the campaign seeks to improve customer service and customer relations throughout the tourism sector Territory-wide.

“British Virgin Islands youth continue to showcase their talents and thirst for success through the many educational and cultural opportunities within the BVI,” said Director of Tourism, Sharon Flax-Mars. “The BVI Tourist Board recognises the important contribution made by our society’s youngsters and we will continue to engage them to work with us on projects that are instrumental to our product development, and the image of our destination as being one of the most stellar.”

The H. Lavity Stoutt Community College student has held a passion for music for years. Through the support of his family he has evolved as a performer with an interest in becoming a professional musician. O’Neal is currently honing his producing and songwriting skills.

When asked about his writing style, O’Neal said he wants to produce music that can be enjoyed by all generations.

The BVI Tourist Board wishes to congratulate Mr. Kadeem O’Neal of Virgin Gorda for successfully writing the winning jingle “We Are One BVI”.
