
VIP political newbie holds great potential—Hon Andrew A. Fahie
“She has a lot of good ideas and a lot of good ideas came out from her and I am saying this now that she definitively has a future in this (politics),” Hon Fahie said, as he complimented her for her bravery and passion for her country which led her to pursue politics.
He was at the time –Saturday, December 1, 2018—speaking with reporters, shortly after his party completed its internal elections for its At-Large candidates, to run on the party’s slate at the 2019 General Election.
Though Ms Ellis-Simpson was not successful in her bid to represent the party at the General Elections come 2019 as an At-Large Candidate, she said there was good camaraderie among the nine nominees.
“I felt blessed that I was part of the process because I did get some information out as to what I would like to see happen with the country,” she told reporters.
Legacy
Her decision to enter the political realm stems from her firm belief in legacy.
According, the political newcomer ,“we have two major parties in this country and if you really study the history, I think the VIP has done incredibly well in developing the country throughout the years, so based on certain things, because I like to research a lot, I think the Party is the one I want to choose.”
Asked if she was disappointed that in not making the slate to contest the General Election, Mrs Simpson responded saying, “No I am not disappointed in that fashion…I gave it my best but what I also recognized is that I am a newbie so people have to get a chance to know who you are.”
She insists however, that she was very happy to have launch herself to the public.
Author and Business woman, known as a professional in the finance industry, Ms Ellis-Simpson studied finances at City University of Hong Kong.
She recently released her authored book “secret code: British Virgin Islands.”

This man has never done anything in the political arena.
On top of that he can't even spell to save himself.
