This may be the only poll that the freedom fighter will win as Premier.
He will have to answer for Andrew, his stooges and his merry band of thieves, of which he was the chief stooge. Even if he changes his name to rejected ballots (expect a lot for the next election, whenever that is), he will still lose.
Enjoy your days as the standing (and more appropriately the stand-in) Premier

Labour was voted worst department because you could only choose one department for number one, but the title can be shared with several other departments.

I want to commend the office of civil registry for their improved level of service. I remember when I first went there in 2000, it took 7 days for a birth/death certificate. And when you went to pick it up on the 7th day, they prepared it in 5 minutes, which was nonsense. I am happy to see that Ms. Benn has re-engineered many of the processes and can now assist folks timely and professionally.

For this to happen in the other agencies, you first need competent individuals, re-engineered processes and the necessary policies and procedures.

Most of these departments are filled with workers that got their jobs through political favors. I have never seen such a high concentration of lazy, ignorant alcoholics and drug addicts in a work force. All because Uncle/Aunty/Mommy/Daddy have a neice/nephew/daughter/son that need a job to help keep them out of trouble. The real hard working citizens dont get a chance to contribute to the development of the country.

So true. Crapo smoke your pipe here in the BVI if you don't have anyone to help you get through for a government job or if your last name is not a popular one that is what I see happening here which is so sad.

The problem is, not the best people have been chosen for the job. WHY??.We have been ruled by greedy corupt FOOLS who have given the plum jobs to their families and pals. They have furthered their privileges falsely and coruptly under the banner of GOD for which they will have to answer. We have had enough contentious ranting. We have an opportunity to be led out of the darkness into the light by governor John Ranken.Who is Scottish brought up in the morrell code of a Scottish Presbyterian. HE is a wise and fair man who will lead these islands back to true democracy run by the people of our islands. GIVE HIM YOUR SUPPORT.

Labor department does resolve all work related issues, they always pick and choose. The whole depart is bias and I'm sure that some employers have paid off these people to get what they want. Having a dispute with a well known employer who's local is the worst.
    • @Person (09/06/2022, 18:54) Like (2) Dislike (0) Reply
You can say that again. I'm in the situation now for months about an employer & just getting toss about. I call no answer, show up unexpected on them & all I get is pure lies one after the other. The labour dept is only for who them want here in the BVI.

It must be called the worst because you all can't get your way. Every thing is a process and patience is not in some of our d&a. Some fell through the cracks and are still here playing the fool. Tighten up our belts is the way to go right now. Fixing the system is paramount immigration and labour systems need to be top notch. To much crookedness in this little place including employers ripping off its workers. Time for change.
