HOMESTRETCH AVENUE, Georgetown, Guyana- The Virgin Islands (VI) will be represented at the One Guyana 3×3 Quest Basketball Tournament set to take place at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall in Georgetown, Guyana, from April 5-6, 2025.

This is the first 3x3 Quest in the English-speaking Caribbean and, apart from the $5000.00 for the winners, teams will get a chance to qualify for the FIBA 3×3 World Tour in Edmonton, Canada this August.

The BVI Elites squad, supported by the BVI Olympic Committee, consists of top-tier athletes: Shakeem Tyson (Captain), Jaquan Hodge, Demron Glasgow and Antwon Robinson.

Eustace C. Freeman aka ‘Boss’ will coach the team, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to guide the players through the highly competitive tournament.

Seventeen countries will be represented by 20 teams.

VI in Pool A

The BVI Elites Team Group (Pool A) includes Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, Mexico and Guyana.

Other countries being represented include the USA, Switzerland, St Maarten, St Lucia, Suriname, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Grenada.
