Don't you see those countries that opened for tourism are now shutting down or have shut down as the virus spread like a wild fire? They came to their senses.
And besides, the majority of tourists are sensible and post that they are not risking their lives to travel. As for cruise ship passengers, weren't you all the same ones in March urging Government to stop the cruise ships from visiting saying how they were too risky, carrying the virus?
And logically any tourist would have to quarantine for 14 days when they land and further quarantine another 14 days when they return to their country. Without vacation time included that is already 28 days - who wants to go through that hassle?
If you are in tourism, switch to another field and hope you don't have to compete with those returning work permit holders. Now you all will see the benefit of ensuring those who were here be gainfully employed first and then if any jobs are left over, consider a WP holder. Some jobs may not come back in the near future.
Stop pressuring the BVI to get water from a rock. Every minute you all have something to complain to Government about. None of you complained to the previous administration and you all take this thing so far you all are downright disrespectful and rude.
That is what protects you
and it is simply not worth it.
