VI couple claims to have cure for COVID-19!
Mr Roy W. Penn and his wife, Esmie, of Parham Town, East End, the proprietors of Wellness by Natural Means, said their product guaranteed to combat COVID-19 is known as ‘2-day Flu Buster’.
Speaking exclusively to Virgin Islands News Online, Mr Penn said he is confident based on what he understands about the coronavirus that his product, which is selling for $50.00 a bottle, can defeat it.
“It is a different manifestation of those flu viruses but there is no reason in my mind, everyone who gets exposed will not get sick but, for those who do, we believe that this 2-day Flu Buster can get them over that in a short period of time.”
‘Completely safe’
While herbal medicine has been practised for ages and handed down from generation to generation, modern medical practitioners have criticised the effectiveness and even safety of such practices.
As for Mr Penn, he said his father, the late Mr Richard C. Penn, was well known in the Virgin Islands for the use of herbal medicine; however, he has gone more in-depth with the use of natural medicine.
Asked about the safety issue regarding the 2-day Flu Buster, Mr Penn said it is completely safe.
“I have been using it since I have been here in the BVI, going on 4 years, I have never had anybody say to me that this caused any problem in anyway. It is something that is put together by myself. I use it for myself, I use it for my wife, her children, her grandchildren, I sell it to people who want it of course,” Mr Penn said
According to him, Wellness by Natural Means always do follow-ups with their clients, ‘Because we want to know if they have problems with anything we offer.
“As a matter of fact it is so effective that if you use it for the flu or the cold it also corrects other problems because it is [a] natural antibiotic,” Mr Penn said, adding that it inhibits the overgrowth of Candida in the body.
“It is completely safe,” he assured.
Not bothered with the critics
Given the heads up that persons may be critical of his practice and more so, his claims of having the cure for COVID-19, Mr Penn said he isn’t too bothered with the critics.
“I have people that laugh at me all the time but it doesn’t matter to me because when they laugh they are on the losing side. I take what I do seriously but I know there are people who don’t take anything seriously."
He also said, "They have their own version and method of dealing with anything, whatever that happens to be, but I tend to separate people into two classes- those who will listen and those who wouldn’t no matter how clear the argument is and so I don’t waste time with them.”
Testimonials
Mr Penn also shared that his business has received many testimonials from well-known people in the Virgin Islands since they have started their business here about four years ago.
“We are not just talking about a few family members. We are talking about people who are well known.
Some of these testimonials can be found on the business website.
“I have been in business for a good four years in the BVI. I have been doing this for some 40 years and I would estimate that around 500 people in the BVI have come to us suffering with all sorts of things and we have been able to help many of them.”
According to the Wellness by Natural Means website, “This website is unlike any other. It is geared towards persons who has suffered illnesses that has no cure and for whom has found themselves tied to a system that has admittedly failed them many such persons are sick and tired of being sick and tired. They have been lied to about medicine in the USA.”
