VI boys go down 0-3 to Anguilla in T&T

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad & Tobago- The Virgin Islands (VI) boys lost their fourth group stage match 0-3 against Anguilla in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Boys’ U14 Challenge Series on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

The game took place at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Trinidad where the games are currently being played.

The VI is placed in Tier II Group B for this series. Following Tuesday’s game VI Boys rank number 4 in their group with 3 points.

This loss follows the boys’ 3-1 win against the United States Virgin Islands (USVI) on Monday, August 19, 2024, where Ty’Rique Charles scored a hat-trick for the VI.

The team also lost their first two matches against Dominica (0-3) and Turks and Caicos Islands (0-4), on Friday, August 16, 2024, and Saturday, August 18, 2024, respectively.

The VI squad at the CFU Boys’ U14 Challenge Series is made up of Myles E. Penn (Captain), Trevon Stevens, Devin Daley, Bryson Walters,  Carlon Stewart, Ty’Rique Charles, Ethan Mohamed, Joel Gifford, Quinn Pascoe, Audony Gangoo, Caedon Fraites, Zaed Chalwell, Quacey Cooper, Emery Jones, Sha'mauri Lennard, Kyrique Matthew, James Tucker Davis, Akhori Sebastian, Kerjahni Prevost, and Delanie Gordon.

Head Coach is Cassandra J. Gregg.
