VI based pilot killed by brother in St Kitts
According to several reports in the St Kitts and Nevis media today, October 10, 2017, Mervin R. Flaherty, reportedly a pilot with Air Sunshine, had returned home from Tortola, Virgin Islands, to bury his mother on Wednesday October 11, 2017.
He was; however, stabbed to death by an elder brother during an altercation over property in the town of Cayon.
The brother, alleged to have inflicted the fatal wound, is better known as “Rockers.” There was no information if he was in police custody.
There have been some 20 homicides in St Kitts and Nevis so far for 2017.
