The Supermarket Sweep 2 promotion drew several curious onlookers and supporters to the venue as Digicel and Riteway continued its journey to the various Riteway locations with this exciting promotion.

Each week, finalists are selected from those who would have topped up their Digicel phones $15 or more, bought a Digicel phone with a prepaid or postpaid SIM, paid their Digicel phone bills in full and on time and spent $15 or more at select Riteway stores.

This past Wednesday, after an entertaining contest hyped by radio personality Paul ”Gadheithz” Peart, Maranna Neptune was declared the 1st place winner of a $1000 voucher to shop at Riteway.

Ester Rolle grabbed for 2nd place and earned a $750 voucher, while Owen Witter received $500. One of the wild card contestants, Claudius Bailey, won a BlackBerry Curve 8520.

The Digicel and Riteway Supermarket Sweep 2 stops at Riteway Prospect Reef next week, Wednesday April 4th, 2012. Everyone is encouraged to ensure that they qualify to enter and get a chance to be in on the winnings over the remaining two weeks. The final event is scheduled for Riteway Pasea on Wednesday April 11th, 2012 at 6pm.

“We are thrilled to know that people are enjoying this promotion,” stated Digicel’s Commercial Manager Su Thomas, after receiving rave reviews from participants and others. “Digicel is grateful for the support of Riteway Food Markets as we partner to give back to our loyal customers.”

Thomas said over $10,000 will be given away throughout the Supermarket Sweep 2 promotion, giving customers a much needed ease on their budget for groceries. She said with the hundreds of dollars to be won by each finalist, this would certainly go a long way in decreasing their food bill for a few weeks.
