VG records 5 new imported COVID-19 cases
This is according to information from the Government Information Service (GIS) released this afternoon, Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
According to the release, there are two cases present on boats, three on Tortola and seven on Virgin Gorda. There are none on Anegada and Jost Van Dyke.
VG sees rise in figures from start of day
Notably, at the start of the day, the government released figures confirmed by Minister for Health and Social Development, Hon Carvin Malone (AL) indicated that Virgin Gorda had two active cases, while Tortola had six with two cases aboard boats.
The latest cases were discovered in visitors and one returning resident, who are all currently under quarantine requirement.
To date, there have been 13,223 samples from 13,209 persons tested locally for the virus, with 97 total recorded cases in the Virgin Islands.

I await more cases worldwide more lockdowns until they’ve accomplished their vaccine rollout /chip.
If this virus so deadly why is it we have 1 death ?
I’ve heard in Trinidad and Tobago once u hospitalized and u die they alert your relatives then cremates u without any autopsy and all of the deaths the persons had other illnesses which could’ve been the cause of death.
