Proud moment- Willock

"It was a moment of sweet victory for my team ‘VG Bayside Blazers’, having emerged as the 2024 Battle of the Fittest Basketball Tournament Champions. It was a long-fought battle and our team prevailed in St Maarten," VG Bayside Blazers' manager Julian Willock commented on his Facebook page this morning, July 21, 2024.

Mr Willick said capturing the title was a result of the team staying focused, disciplined, being team players and playing by the rules.

"It was a proud moment for me as manager/owner as I did it for the love of the sport, the love of people and always wanting to make my country proud. It was also a personal touching moment when we stood in the LB Scott Auditorium for our Territorial Song!

"We could not have done it without my coaching and management team, the players, fans and the generous support of many sponsors. My people of district three, I have not forgotten you, I am even more charged up to fight for you. Our Back-to-School event is up next, stay tuned," Mr Willock added.
