ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) has secured sponsorship for the re-establishment of its Information Technology (IT) Laboratory, which was destroyed when hurricanes Irma and Maria ravaged the school in 2017.

At the rededication of Vanterpool Enterprises Limited and grand opening of Vanterpool Pharmacy on February 22, 2020, there was loud applause when owner Nona Vanterpool-Bonilli disclosed that “Vanterpool Enterprises Limited is going to be sponsoring, in conjunction with Stevez R. Gomes of kloudfyre, the computer lab for the Elmore Stoutt High School."

Kloudfyre is a budding IT company in the Territory and has done all recent IT works for Vanterpool Enterprises Limited.

Vanterpool Pharmacy was ravaged by Hurricane Irma and was also looted in the wake of the killer storm.

Gov’t lent a helping had

The cost to rebuild grander and more resilient was not announced; however, Mrs Vanterpool-Bonilli applauded the government of the day for relaxing customs duties and other government fees.

Coming in for high praises were Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie (R1) and Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities Honourable Kye M. Rymer (R5), who both attended the opening ceremony.

In an invited comment, Premier Fahie said, "Once there exists a harmonious relationship between the Government of the Virgin Islands and the private sector then there is no limit to the many positive things that can be achieved for the people of the BVI.

“Since taking office your Government continues to cement such relationships. This new commitment to fund the ESHS IT Lab is welcomed and it is a testament to what happens when the private and public sector works in oneness in purpose for a better BVI.”

Premier Fahie pointed out that many in the private sector continue to accelerate their recovery from the damages of Irma in 2017 through their own efforts, coupled with incentives from Government, such as the relaxing of Custom duties as well as other Government fees.

“For the private sector to now reciprocate to Government in this manner sends a clear message that recovery through BVI Love is well on its way in a resilient and sustainable manner."

Vanterpool Pharmacy is housed on the bottom floor of the massive new building. There are also plans to establish a doctor and patient care room.

Big Up to you Nova for an awesome come back. It's really a beautiful Building. Thank God there's laws in place now for Looters during Disasters.
If this happens again, regardless of what status they have, after they serve their time, send them from here.
We don't want them type of persons among us.
After all that loss, it's very thoughtful of you to sponsor the Computer Lab for the Elmore Stoutt High School.
