UPDATE: VI man killed in Anguilla identified as Kalik S. Aaron
Mr Aaron was the victim of gunshots around 9:40 PM in an area known as Road Well Road, according to the Royal Anguilla Police Force.
It is believed Mr Aaron was in Anguilla participating in a poker run. In 2018, the now-deceased was found not guilty by a unanimous jury in an attempted murder case.

VI man shot dead in Anguilla
- One of two persons nursing injuries in same shooting incident is a Virgin Islander
A man from the Virgin Islands lost his life to gun violence in Anguilla last night, Sunday, August 11, 2024.
According to reports, another Virgin Islander is one of two persons with injuries as a result of the same shooting incident that took place in an area of Anguilla known as Road Well Road.
The deceased is the son of a well-known businessman in the territory. We will disclose names when the next of kin has been adequately informed.
The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) has confirmed the fatal shooting incident.
‘Targeted incident involving individuals not from Anguilla’- RAPF
“The RAPF can confirm a shooting incident occurred at Road Well Road (around the Sandy Ground Pond) around 9:40 PM tonight. Tragically, one person is deceased, and two others are currently receiving medical attention for gunshot wounds,” RAPF stated on its Facebook page.
It said officers responded quickly, and the scene was cordoned off for investigations to continue.
“We want to assure the public that this appears to be a targeted incident involving individuals not from Anguilla,” the RAPF added.

If that person did not accept Jesus Christ before he took dat last breth, then the funeral and all ayo do, colors ayo wear and crown ayo put on them head cannot get them in the kingdom. These same people are a part of the problem by supporting wrongdoings.
WHY?
Its obvious some people have weapons and feel powerful over the rest of the population, also they feel they can travel where ever to kill in cold blood not self defense.
So either arrest & start hanging murderers & associates or give common people their own means to protect themselves & their family before the evil turns on the rest of the population. Greed knows no bounds so id rather be prepared than reactionary.
But we are too soft & slow, 100+ unsolved as they quote and yet we feel like saying "shame!" is enough to ensure safety.
Its like the politicians are puppets well they are book smart but we need warriors mentality to ensure security.
RIP I dont know him but its sad, someone close had to been monitoring him & reporting back his location or watching his social media like a hawk if he post a lot.

All these young men dying just like that - some from accidents and incidents, some being gunned down, shot to death, killed on scooters etc.
Then we have another set of young men sleeping on the street, begging for money and becoming mentally insane from drugs and whatever the cause.
Then we have the other set ending up in prison or involve in criminal activities, some do not want to work and is no benefit to their families, the church, their communities and society as well.
Soon it would not have any man for the young women to married to and young children will be growing up in a fatherless society.
There are more than one hundred plus (100 plus) Unsolved Murders in the British Virgin Islands. There is going to be more!

Rip to the young man . When a life is lost no one wins. This young man was already saved by god, he escaped death once already and he was acquitted of all charges for his attempted murder case. Only for him to get gunned down outside his hometown.
