UPDATE: Towed!

Just a few days after installing a security bar and new parking rules, many watched with mixed emotions as a vehicle was towed away on July 10, 2017.
According to information reaching our newsroom, the vehicle had exceeded the one hour parking stipulation and, after valiant efforts to locate the driver or owner failed, the tow truck was called in and the vehicle hauled away.

New parking system implemented at Bobby's Parking Lot
A new system has been put in place at the Bobby’s/Bolo’s parking lot to regulate vehicular traffic.
Persons are now required to inform the guard which of the three stores they will shop; either Bolo’s Department Store, Bobby’s Supermarket or Vanterpool's Pharmacy. Persons are allowed to park in the already congested parking lot for no more than one hour.
The new parking restriction became effective today, July 7, 2017.
Meanwhile, it is our understanding that there is a proposal on the table to build some paid parking lots in Road Town through the Ministry of Communications and Works. However, the National Democratic Party (NDP) administration has been mum on the issue.

The Govt needs a tow truck to take away all the badely parked vehicles in the middle of car parks in Road Town. The area near to labour is a disgrace - cars parked down the middle of the car park blocking in cars in proper spaces.

Respect
Maybe - 'Lack of not taking my time" but who knows!
Now I will start buying at Bobby's and Bolo's again. But I think they should make it a 2 hour limit instead of 1.
Emergency vehicles only in Town.
I have no issue with adhering to parking rules as it is common procedure overseas, especially in Canada, but Need to know so I can know what to do before hand in this situation.
