A shame.
Someone has lost their life and you make a cruel and very stupid remark.
You are a poor excuse for a human being.
Maybe you should of said. It need signs up to warn people about the danger of devil's bay. It's not call that for a reason.
The seas when ruff can quickly pull you out if you do not know to swim there.
As a youth we always made sure head devil's bay but once we see it's ruff. We all turn back to baths area where it's calm. But if calm there's a special rock out there perfect to dive from.
Now I want to visit again
Condolences to the family

As a continued tourist of the BVIs. This was preventable. The cruise ship should have canceled all snorkeling trips on a red flag day. The boat/tour that moored outside devils bay was moored on a no mooring day. The tour agency didn’t have whistles or experienced life guards, or any emergency equipment. Nor was it the tour agency that noticed what was happening.
Other tourists helped him out of the water and perform CPR. There is no easy way to get emergency professionals to the Baths.
Tour agencies are banking with peoples lives on dollars when they operate in unsafe waters and no lifesaving professionals or equipment!
