UPDATE: St. Kitts & Nevis wins Miss Caribbean Talented Teen
The 42nd edition of the Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant at Multipurpose Sports Complex. This was the first time the pageant was held outside of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Coming in First Runner Up was Miss Virgin Islands Asha A.S. Hyndman with Miss Anguilla Brooks Santana as Second Runner Up and Miss Antigua and Barbuda Gabrielle Hamlet as Third Runner Up.
Miss St Kitts and Nevis Kaitlyn Wilson won Best Talent. Miss St. Croix (USVI) Le’Shay D’Garro was awarded Best Evening Wear and Best Theatrical Shero Costume. Miss Anguilla Brooks Santana was also voted as Miss Congeniality.

Miss Caribbean Talented Teen on tonight!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Twelve teen queens from across the region will compete later today, December 29, 2024, as the Virgin Islands (VI) hosts the 42nd edition of the Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant at Multipurpose Sports Complex from 7:00 PM.
The pageant will celebrate young women’s talents, creativity, and intellect across the region under the theme ‘Project Truth.’
Mr Rupert Vanterpool Jr, Country Director for the pageant said during the press conference on December 26, 2024, “We are thrilled to have you here in the BVI. This is a place where you can experience our culture, history, and unmatched beauty.”
First pageant held outside St. Kitts
Meantime, the pageant’s relocation to the VI was lauded as a significant milestone with Mr Vanterpool reflecting on the significance of the BVI hosting the event, noting its unique appeal.
This year marks a momentous occasion for the pageant as a decision was taken in response to longstanding requests from franchise holders and participants for greater transparency and accountability in the judging process.
The Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant said hosting the pageant across various territories will provide fresh perspectives and ensure impartiality, reflecting practices of international competitions such as the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants.
“The BVI is an ideal location for such an event; We’re a melting pot of cultures, and our islands offer a perfect blend of natural beauty, history, and a welcoming atmosphere,” he said.
He also credited the Haynes Smith Youth Club for its vision in bringing the competition to the VI.
The young ladies will compete in three rounds, Interview, Theatrical Performance and Evening Wear.
