Any thing that marks "BVI" in another country becomes suspicious.. That's the reputation we have created. So if you into anything unlawful avoid the Name BVI. That will give you attention you don't need..

Unfortunately that is correct. When people from Tortola travel, they do take a second look because of the stigma that was put on us. At JFK Airport in NYC they pay very close attention to people arriving from Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. Not to long ago a Jamaican man with a fake leg arrive at JFK with a stash of Cocaine stuff in his false leg. They also caught a Dominican at the same airport with a bunch of cocaine pellets in his stomach after they did a body X-ray at the airport. The fool almost died because one of the pellets broke in his stomach.

The UK Governor and UK Commissioner of Police has done an excellent job feeding other countries filt about people from the BVI and make them and some of you believe these criminal behavior reflects the majority of people of the BVI when it is not true. They are on a mission to destroy the BVI and don't tell me it is the BVI doing it to themselves because where they are from and the US it is a million times worse but some of you do not watch the news and let them get away with these folly. They never talk about the many positive things happening in the BVI & this is by design.

Your statement is without merit. So many good and positive stories were posted this week about the many good things happening in the BVI and the people locally and abroad and people like you did not take the time to post a positive comment or any comment but now come post piddle when one bad happens. You need to do better.

Know who you are hanging around with or who you associate yourselves with because when their enemies pull up blazing the gunman don’t care about who is around be it man, woman, child or elderly. Once they lock on their target it’s a wrap.Things happen but I always pay close attention to my surroundings, if I go in anywhere, I always look for exit signs, if I don’t see any exit signs I’m right back out the door. To many crazy things is popping off. No one is safe.

The US has been watching us ever since they were trying to extradite the man who is now dead for running drugs through the US and the BVI SHIELDED HIM FROM EXTRADITION. PERHAPS IF HE WAS EXTRADITED TO THE US HE WOULD HAVE BEEN STILL ALIVE.

I remember that very well. The US made I think two attempts to extradite the man for running drugs through the US for over thirteen years that the BVI was aware of and BVI covered up for him and shielded him from being extradited. Now we are all paying the price for shielding and protecting criminals.

Sell bottle water at the side of the road than get involved in the drug game. If you are serious you can turn selling bottle water at the side of the road into a business. It is always hot here and people will patronize the business. The only way out of the drug game is prison or pushing up daisies.

While I do not condone crime nor drugs, I also do not condone the ignorance of the few who thinks only BVI has issues in these areas. You all need to stop calling down the BVI and start to watch the news worldwide including the UK & see that this us now a GLOBAL ISSUE. The BVI has far more positive than negatives.
