They performed some of their hit songs, such as “Powder” and songs from other bands around the Caribbean, for example 'Soap Drop' from the Award Nominated band hailing from St. Kitts, the Small Axe Band.
Versatility was definitely recognized when Xtreme performed, as they carefully switched from Soca to Reggae to R & B and then hitting the gears way up to perform their own hand written songs.
Leadership and teamwork was an advantage to the Xtreme Band, all four band mates on vocals, led the band in high tempo, where the crowd responded by running on stage, hands in the air, shouting to the top of their voices.
Just before Showtime's performance, the dance floor was 'ram pack' and overflowing. It was obviously evident that persons waited outside until Showtime’s performance.
Instead of faces, all one can see were branches, branches from every type of tree, branches in every hand, patiently awaiting one of the band’s hottest songs, 'Pushing Bush'.
Versatility definitely existed in their performance; beats from as far back as the early days of Whitney Houston right down to Grammy award winner Adele were played.
The vocalists of Showtime were not as strong and powerful as those of Xtreme band, but it was obvious that the crowd wasn't looking for the best voice.
Beats in galore, lyrics 'cyarn dun' according to a fan, Showtime definitely had the crown in their hands.
Receiving the trophy, Showtime and their fans shouted, “we're not lucky we're blessed”.
