UPDATE: One charged in cash find @ Nanny Cay
This news site had reported according to information from sources that four men were intercepted by police and cash and drugs seized.
The RVIPF, in a press release late April 11, 2016 stated that only three men were arrested and a quantity of cash uncovered. There was no mention of any drugs.
“In a stop/search operation yesterday in the Nanny Cay area, Police uncovered a quantity of cash from a vehicle. The three men in the vehicle were taken into Police custody and interviewed in relation to the find, the press release stated.
It further stated that two of the men have been released pending further investigations and the third, who has produced no legal entry permission for the territory, has been charged for illegal entry.
Police investigations are continuing.

Police allegedly intercept men with $$ & drugs
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has been tight-lipped on information, but reports reaching Virgin Islands News Online is that law enforcement authorities intercepted four men and money and drugs were allegedly recovered in the Nanny Cay area yesterday, April 10, 2016.
According to one source, two of the men are “locals” while the other two are believed to be from the Dominican Republic.
“They found a lot of money,” the source alleged.
It was alleged that police tracked the men after they disembarked a boat at West End and confronted them in the Nanny Cay area.
Virgin Islands News Online sought confirmation from Police Information Officer Diane Drayton since last evening, however, there was no response up to publication time.
