Of course VG already crying saying what about them.

Just like businesses here doing their thing organize yourself if you really want to and stop COMPLAINING!!

Anegada and JVD don’t jump up crying out at everything Tortola having…it’s as though you don’t realize Tortola is the mainland.

Some time back an ice cream truck was giving out free ice cream on Tortola, VG crying what about them (ice cream truck went VG to quiet the noise).

I doubt Nevis, Tobago, Barbuda complain like VG people.

Closing a bank to watch a race is beyond crazy.

I agree, especially after the long holiday. Also why close Social Security and NHI. People have things to get done within deadlines and places to be. Absolutely crazy. There are other ways to celebrate and show support for our athletes. Not disrupt peoples schedules.

Virgin Islands community what do youall think about having a territorial flag let's start working on one. Should design Vi at the top and a symbol African crown. Remember we are the first Virgin Islands. This is a start.

What a poor example to set for the world to see. Surely, we cannot discount that today should be business as usual in the BVI. This is not intended to take away the possibility of a BVI historic milestone. I pray for a MCMaster gold medal today.

Exactly right. If this event means that much to some folks, they can take a personal day or a half a personal day, without pay. The taxpayers are getting treated badly, yet again. Any excuse not to work...

Bad mind! Stay in your stuck up corner. There’s a time and place for everything and today we are celebrating our athletes on the world’s stage!

It's not being "stuck up" to care about the public fisc. Glad to let people support the Olympic athlete, but it's just not an activity that should be subsidized.
