FAT HOGS BAY, Tortola, VI- Police have confirmed the death of a woman in Fat Hogs Bay, Tortola, today, Monday, April 6, 2020.

The deceased has been identified as 64-year-old Maria Catalina Thomas.

“On April 6th, the RVIPF received a report of an unresponsive female in Fat Hog’s Bay. The deceased was identified as Ms. Maria Thomas, a 64-year-old BVIslander. She was pronounced dead at the scene,” a press release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) stated.

It said investigations are ongoing.

According to reports, Thomas was employed with the Government of the Virgin Islands as a Janitor.

Sudden death reported @ Fat Hogs Bay

nformation reaching Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) is that there has reportedly been a "sudden death" in Fat Hogs Bay, on the main island of Tortola, today, Monday, April 6, 2020.

Reports are that the person is a Hispanic woman.

Police are on the scene.

    Small area of fat hogs someone must know this lady as said she works in government as a janitor my point is up to now no one say they knew of this lady in anyway u may know her but instead coming talking about corona and 5G all of us would come to this day soon or later Hebrews 9:27 KJV

      Ignorance is bliss and may the father forgive them. We are in a time where compassion has been thrown out the door, and unless it is their friend or relative, to hell with everyone else feelings and how they try to just destroy anyone with their keyboard.

      Any life is precious in the sight of the Lord. Sympathy and condolence to the family of the lady and pray that you will find some kind of comfort as the days go by. Nobody want to lose a loved one, especially in this difficult time
