UPDATE: Man succumbs to injuries in Fahie Hill accident
Police have not yet released the name of the deceased but according to reports reaching our newsroom, the man is said to be 22 years of age and reportedly from Anegada.
Police have since confirmed the fatality.
"I can confirm that there was an accident at Fahie Hill earlier today. One person was taken to Peebles Hospital and subsequently died. Investigations are ongoing," Police Information Officer Akia L. Thomas told our newsroom.
A senior police rank also said it is too early to state what happened.
"Specialist officers are at the scene investigating," the officer said,

One critical after SUV ploughs into guard rail on Fahie Hill
At least one person is said to be in critical condition after an SUV ploughed into a guard rail on Fahie Hill, Tortola this morning, August 5, 2019.
It is unclear at this time what caused the vehicle to run off the road. The accident occurred sometime after 10:00am.
The injured was rushed to Peebles Hospital.
Police are on the scene.

Expats. But this is not where we should be debating this. Someone has passed I was only asking where the location was so sorry for this young mans family.
Probably the individual who’s enquiring about the location of the incident knows the hill, but perhaps forgot the name of the hill or is unaware of its name. As for the individual who asked the location, It’s ok to ask a question, but in the future please know when and how to ask it (please don’t be sarcastic, if you were).

I've pulled far left for both vehicles and motorbikes/scooters and they just kept going without slowing to acknowledge it was a close call.
