UPDATE: Man found dead in JvD home is Urvie Chinnery
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has also confirmed the incident.
“I can confirm that a male was found dead in his home in JVD last night [Monday] around 8:00 PM,” Police Media Liaison Diane L. Drayton told our news centre.
The discovery is reportedly being treated as a sudden death.
“Police have not found anything suspicious about his death so far,” Ms Drayton added.

Man reportedly found dead in home on JvD
Reports just reaching our newsroom indicate that a man was found unresponsive in his home on Jost van Dyke this evening, March 13, 2023.
According to reports, the discovery was made around 7:00 PM.
Our news centre knows the name of the individual, said to be in his 30s, but will withhold publishing at this time.
