UPDATE: Leonie Thompson not guilty of wounding sisters
Leonie Thompson was charged with two counts of wounding after it was alleged that she stabbed Tekeisha Drew and her sister on the same day in question.
The jury, however, returned a not guilty verdict. The trial judge was Justice Albert Redhead.

Trial begins for woman accused of stabbing two sisters

Leonie Thompson who is charged with two counts of wounding that allegedly took place on June 26, 2011 is having her case heard in the High Court today, June 3, 2013.
A key witness in the case, Tekeisha Drew who is also one of the wounded, commenced her testimony before Justice Albert Redhead. Representing the Crown are Tiffany Scatliffe and Leslie Ann Faulkner while for the defense is Attorney at Law, Patrick Thompson.
In her testimony, which started this morning, Drew recounted the incident which occurred prior to her and her sister allegedly being stabbed by Ms Thompson. She told the court that following a conversation between her father and sister, which surrounded her sister’s children, they were proceeding down the stairs when the defendant allegedly threw a number of household items at them.
She alleged that she then went back up the stairs cautiously to solicit her father’s assistance. “I keep calling my dad,” who she alleged did nothing and was surprised to find him standing in the company of the accused.
One thing led to another and Drew alleged that the accused grabbed her head and it was then that she felt a sharp pain. She told the court that as she tried to shield herself she felt more sharp pains to her left then right hand. Asked if she had threatened her father and Ms Thompson, the witness responded in the negative.
The incident, according to Drew, continued with her freeing herself from Ms Thompson by pushing her away when she allegedly saw the defendant with what she described as a “sharp metal with wooden handle” coming at her and did "graze" her in the region of her chest.
At that stage, she alleged that Ms Thompson turned on her sister and proceeded to stab her with the object. “I start screaming she stabbing you, she stabbing you,” Drew told the court this morning. She added that she proceeded to pull her sister away by her hair from the accused and as they were moving away, the girls’ father was still standing nearby doing nothing.
The court will continue to take testimony from Drew this afternoon.

Them just don't want their f... to have any women. That is the cause of everything. The women wash, cook , clean and take good care of their f....ather, she even go fishing with him at sea. None of the children allegedly do anything for him, but cursing and stressing their f.... . Am a neighbor where they live , I see and hear everything that happen in that yard. The father have to move out the house to go rent an apartment for him and miss Thom.... Leaving ti....and her boyfriend D... to live in the house that mr dr...w build. They should just leave the lady alone. I know miss Thom... living in the bvi for about 20 years. I am a born tortolian but I know rite from wrong , we are all human .

Everything isn't always black and white. Not only am I from Tortola I am from East End and know these people too well. That man has always been a sponge. His wife worked too hard to build that house and had to practically force he to go fishing. Dis wo.... just looking for a meal ticket and see an opportunity. The girls might be rude but they are right to fight for what dem see their mother work hard for and refuse to let this woman run dem out. We she don't go find a man back home who wife dead and move in to take over. It would never happen!! I sincerely hope this family that I know from East End support these girls and stand by them like I know they would and help them keep what their mother worked her self to death for to ensure her children were not on the street after she was not around. She know why it had to be done and he only prove her right for the whole of East End and her family to see. I hope he and she know deh ting start now.

But u should know its the other way around because the sisters brother was literally crying and cursing the sisters to leave his stepfather and his women alone . He confest that they gave him $6,000 us to go to Haiti to make bad of there own father and ms T.......but he took their money and didn't do it but when the sisters came snack to him for the money, that is when he starts to talk what they have him the money to do, so as I say ( there is a god almighty).

You should know your information! Mr dr... had to go to the states to renew his green card, and he was suppose to do a video link for the court but the next sister in the states told him that she is not going to do no video to testify against ms Th..... but yet when it's 2:00 , she appear on video link in di court. Even then they doing trix on their father. If mr dr... ran away leave ms Th....., why would he leave his truck with her and not any of u, I does see ms Th....... going on the farm taking care of mr dr....animals since he went states and I never saw one of alyo up on the farm yet. The daughter ti..... Even put out her father bed and stuff that was him the house . So u should get your information strate. !!!
Ps. For my understanding the woman nasty she don't clean and can't cook and only go near a boat because she want to know what the man doing at all time.

As I said( there is a god) ms Thompson was found not guilty and judge says it was self defense. I think she should teach girls a lesson and suit dem now in court. Now they will have to pay back ms Thompson lawyer fee.
