UPDATE: Kenai Jacobs charged over Long Look shooting
Kenai Jacobs, 22, was also slapped with an additional charge of possession of a controlled drug. According to reports reaching our newsroom, a quantity of cocaine was uncovered at his home in Long Look.
The shooting resulted in a male victim receiving a gunshot wound to his chest. He is said to be in stable condition at Peebles Hospital.
Police are seeking information from the public as investigation continues into this matter.

One person has been arrested by police as investigation begins into the shooting incident in Long Look, on the main island of Tortola last night, April 15, 2019.
Virgin Islands News Online was informed by a senior rank of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) of the arrest made today, April 16, 2019.
It is not clear if the person arrested has since been charged.
The shooting, which occurred sometime after 10:00pm, resulted in a male suffering a gunshot wound to the chest.

Man shot in chest in Long Look

A shooting in Old Plantation, Long Look, Tortola last night, April 15, 2019 has left a male in critical condition at Peebles Hospital.
According to reports reaching Virgin Islands News Online, the incident took place shortly after 10:00pm in the vicinity of the old Bobby's Supermarket.
The victim was shot to the chest and is said to be in critical condition.
