CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI- It was a rough ride for boaters in the One VI Poker Run on Sunday, June 30, 2024, but that did not curtail the fun in any way, as participants were not daunted.

Jordan Romney pulled the winning hand and pocketed $8000.00 and a pendant compliments of House of Luxury Jewellery Store.

Deyling Castro was the second-place winner and received $4000.00.

Third Place was taken by Carlos Castro, who collected $2000.00.

$14K up for grabs @ 3rd Annual One VI Poker Run today!

Registration has closed and power boats are ready for take-off in the 2024 One VI Poker Run today, June 30, 2024.

Boats are scheduled to take off from Cane Garden Bay from 11: 00 AM for the third annual event being held under the theme 'Champions of the Sea'.

Power boats will then head to Oceans 7 before heading back over to the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park.

The next stop will then be at Trellis Bay Market before power boats make their way to Foxy's on Jost van Dyke.

Power boats will then conclude the One VI Poker Run at Cane Garden Bay.

The vessel with the winning hand will take home $8000.00 while second place will earn $4000.00 and third place $2000.00.

      More power to the organizers, every year is a learning matter so each year can be better and bigger, Traffic controlling needed next time, along with visible security. Great event. Next year please get Peter Tosh son and Joseph hill Culture son, at least one or both if possible ..Keep the consciousness alive..

    I truly can't respect these businesses. They can sponsor events wasting hundreds but you NEVER heard these businesses go around and just give to the needed. People only want to do for people who already have. You give the drug man them more money. Must of the people who's in poka run are drug dealer so you promote that. I lose respect for humans every day

    I watched the Poker Run yesterday in the channel from West End to PETER ISLAND the water was rough and what I saw with some of the boats was very scary some of these guys don’t know a thing about handling a boat, going into the seas they had the bow of the boat to high I saw one boat almost stand on its stern they believe they get a better ride with the Bow high but it’s a very unconformable ride. You need to keep your bow raised just a little. If you don’t have Trim Tabs install some.
